La Maltese Santorini

It’s been a while, Ollie and I landed back from NYC yesterday afternoon and I’ve been catching up on work and emails ever since. I can’t wait to get to work on the photos from New York to share with you all, we had the most amazing time. In the meantime, today’s post is from my recent trip to Santorini with the wonderful Isabella.

Half way through our trip, Isabella and I moved hotels to La Maltese. The hotel was also in Imerovigli, the same area as our previous hotel Aqua Luxury Suites.

We arrived and were offered complimentary cocktails, how could we possibly decline?! It was apparent immediately that we’d been upgraded once we were shown to our room, what a luxurious surprise. We both fell silent, but when we were left alone in the room and we both screamed!! Was this even real, were we dreaming?!

A enormous four-poster bed, large ensuite bathroom, a gorgeous seating area, along with a desk and chairs looking over our terrace and the stunning view onto the volcano. There was also an upstairs bedroom with another ensuite bathroom. We couldn’t have asked for more.

I got straight to work using my Kikki K travel notes journal to write down details of our trip so far and of our new hotel. The concierge then brought down a little bottle of prosecco and fresh fruit, and we sat out on the terrace and said cheers to the rest of our stay, we couldn’t have had a nicer welcome!
